Workshops
Working alongside local education providers we are currently able to offer a range of work-based skills courses at really low cost to those taking part; some of these will be free to join!

Over time we aim to facilitate workshops run by local people to share skills and knowledge and work with others to combat social isolation.

Autumn/Halloween Fused Glass Workshops
Wednesday 17 September
6pm – 8.30pm
£39 per person
Create your very own lantern as the centrepiece for a seasonal display! Or perhaps a spooky sensation to proudly display in your window at Halloween!
During this 2 ½ hour class, you will design and decorate all 4 panels of the lantern, but don’t worry, I will be showing you how to use the glass paints and glass frit to get the best effects for your designs.
After the work, the panels will come back with me to be fired in the kiln and your lantern assembled. It will then be returned to SCRAP approximately 10 days later for you to collect at your convenience.
Everything you need is included in the cost of the workshop – lanterns, glass , paint ,kiln firing & return delivery. All you need to bring is your ideas !
