Workshops
Working alongside local education providers we are currently able to offer a range of work-based skills courses at really low cost to those taking part; some of these will be free to join!
Information to follow on dates and availability for both accredited and non-accredited courses.
Over time we aim to facilitate workshops run by local people to share skills and knowledge and work with others to combat social isolation.

Upcoming Workshops
Monday 17th November: 6pm – 8.30pm
Fused glass workshop run by Sharon from Art in Glass. The cost for this session is £50.00 which includes either 2 Christmas trees plus a gonk or 2 gingerbread houses
plus a gonk.
Tuesday 18th November: 4pm – 6pm
During this session we will be making light up Christmas trees (decoration).
The cost for this will be £10 which includes tea of cottage pie and vegetables.
Saturday 22nd November: 10am – 2pm
During this session we will be making at least 3 items including Christmas tree wreath and a sweet treat.
The cost for this session will be £25 including refreshments but not lunch.
Tuesday 2nd December: 4pm – 6pm
During this session we will be making a sweet sledge and snowmen decorations.
The cost for this will be £10 including homemade soup and bread.
Thursday 4th December: 6pm – 8.30pm
Fused glass workshop with Sharon from Art in Glass. The cost for this session is £50 which includes either 2 Christmas trees and 1 gonk or 2 gingerbread houses and a gonk.
Tuesday 9th December: 4pm – 6pm
During this session we will be making Christmas crackers and a Christmas
decoration.
The cost for this will be £10 which includes pizza tea.
Saturday 13th December: 10am – 2pm
During this session we will be making at least three items including a decorative
reindeer cheeseboard, felt trees and a sweet treat.
The cost for this session is £25 which includes refreshments, but not lunch.
Bookings need to be made via the office or send in a note with the dates you require
and payments for the sessions.
In the event that there is no interest we will cancel and let you know and give a full
refund. If you book but don’t attend unfortunately we will not be able to make
refunds.
